To further strengthen safety production management and eliminate the occurrence of safety production accidents, Zhejiang Hailiang Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as Hailiang Stock) held the 2018 Annual Conference on Safety Production in the afternoon of 19th April. Chairman and General Manager Zhu Zhangquan of Hailiang Stock, Deputy General Managers Wang Sheng and Dong Zhiqiang, major principles of the company and all units, people in charge of safety management and relevant functional departments all participated in the conference, which was themed as “Safety Ongoing”.
At the beginning of the conference, Qian Xuejun, the head of security of Hailiang Stock, analyzed and reported the basic situation of safety production, main causes behind safety accidents as well as the consequences. Yu Jianwu, the person in charge of the safety management of Hailiang Otto Copper Tube (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. introduced his experiences in safety management as an advanced representative of safety production, and presented the management model of “all-round safety” in Zhongshan Factory with pictures and texts. By combining the following four major contents of “improvement in safety awareness among employees, elimination of hidden dangers, implementation and supervision of safety management system, as well as safety assessment and incentive method” with quite a few real cases, better safety management was shared with all the participants.
Followed by the sharing of the advanced representative, Sun Zhimin, Minister of the Energy and Environmental Protection Department of Hailiang Stock, gave an introduction to the organization that promotes the safety of the company. Minister Sun Zhimin also reported on the company’s safety promotion plan, officially launched the 2018 “Safe Ongoing” Program of Hailiang Stock.
In the end, Chairman Zhu Zhangquan gave guidance on the company’s safety work. Chairman Zhu noted that the safety management in Zhongshan Factory is worth learning by everyone at Hailiang Stock. He pointed out that safety guarantees the long-term and stable development of a company, and the occurrence of any safety accidents is a result of consciousness and behavior lacking among workers superficially, but a consequence of poor management from the deeper level. So how to manage safety in a real sense? Managers should first pay attention to it, start safety professionally, comprehensively, immediately and persistently. Secondly, managers should consider safety in an all-round way, look ahead both in planning and designing. Thirdly, they ought to constantly update the zero record in safety accidents, lead the development of the industry and become a benchmarking company in the industry. Finally, Chairman Zhu signed safety production responsibility agreement with the Copper Pipe Department, Keyu Company, environmental material company, new material company and the institute. Meanwhile, the timer of safety production was started.
It’s a daunting task and great responsibility to do a good job of safety production. Let’s treat life as the most paramount thing and regard responsibility as a mission that is weightier than Mount Tai. Let us all work hard, fulfill our due responsibility and focus on safety production, so as to ensure the sustainable and stable development of the company’s safety production.
